Yes⌠a little name change. It's still me.
And no, I didnât just wake up one day and decide to rebrand for fun.đLet's just say it's been a reflective Wednesday today.
Over time, I realised that many people want to take care of their eyes, but thereâs just so much information out there that it becomes confusing very quickly. One person says this supplement can âtreat everythingâ, another says âdonât worry, got KKM approvalâ⌠and before you know it, youâre not sure whatâs actually true anymore.
So I thought, why not create a space where you can just⌠ask?
Don't worry, I won't judge. I enjoy debunking and clarifying while helping people understand more about their eyes.
No pressure, no judgement, and definitely no complicated medical jargon thrown at you.
Thatâs how I decided to change this page into a place where I can share what I see every day in clinic, explain things in a way that actually makes sense, and hopefully help you make better decisions about your eyes without feeling overwhelmed.
Iâll be putting out short, simple stories and explanation here. You know, the kind you can watch in between your daily scroll. We can cover common eye problems, things people often ignore, and yes⌠occasionally debunking those âtoo good to be trueâ treatments that somehow treat everything from cataracts to glaucoma (unbelievable out-of-this-world claims!)đ
So if youâve ever had a question about your eyes however trivial they may seem or something you think is âprobably nothingâ, feel free to drop it in the comments or send me a message.
Chances are, if youâre wondering about it⌠someone else is too.
Letâs make eye care a little less confusing, and a lot more honest.
Your friendly and witty ophthalmologist,
Dr Abirami đ
