What is Palms Sanctuary?

Palms Sanctuary is a high quality, family-run cosy care facility that offers residential assisted living in the comfort of a beautiful Balinese-style villa in Johor, Malaysia.

Our goal is to help guests and residents stay active while supporting independence. Whether you’re looking for a short-term stay to help you recuperate from surgery or a senior that needs loving, assisted care, we offer a range of services and facilities to help you enjoy your time with us in comfort.

We are all about a non-clinical, non-institutionalised environment. The area we are situated in is surrounded by lots of greenery, the air is clean and we are surrounded by wildlife. It is a very calming, healing, scenic environment.

Each client is assessed and given their own program and goals and targets are discussed with them and their families. The atmosphere is very informal and more homely.

We tailor diets accordingly ie for diabetics, vegans etc,
Families are encouraged and supported too.

We go on outings at least once a week, to a shopping mall, a meal outside, walks at parks, trips to other towns or attractions .

We have a lovely garden for walking in and have created many areas for quiet reading, socialising, meditating etc. We also have a hydroponic garden where we try and grow various fruit trees, herbs and vegetables.

We also have our two beautiful cats who seem to know when a client needs to be monitored, loved or cuddled.

There are many activities available, painting, pottery, sewing or crafts, light sport like badminton, ten pin garden bowling, walking, swimming, yoga, tai chi and we encourage our clients to participate in activities that they enjoy.
