Kawaaaan! I found a new crab spot at Imago 😍😍

📍Fatty Lai Crab Pot, Imago Basement .my

This China viral brand Fatty Lai Crab Pot 赖胖子肉蟹煲 with 500+ outlets has officially arrived in Sabah and this is their FIRST outlet in Malaysia! I know why they pick Sabah, coz we are famous with our fresh and top quality seafood obviously 😌

Their fragrant, rich, super juicy crab pot, it’s the kind where u will rosak ur diet and keep eating with rice non-stop 🫣 bayayaaa but hmmm worth dying for 😤😤

This restaurant is Muslim friendly. No Pork, No Lard used in their cooking. So everyone can enjoy.

Here for their buffet steamboat again! Currently they are doing promo on selected soup bases - RM18.88 until 10/4/2026 only ya! Applicable on both ala carte or buffet.

Buffet rate:
RM53/ Adult
RM29/ Senior Citizen or Kids 5–10yo
Kids below 5yo FOC
Add RM3 for sauce + unlimited drinks

Plenty of choices on the buffet menu. And if u wanna try something exotic, go for the pig’s brain. It tasted like creamy taufu fa seriously, no weird or unpleasant smell, silky smooth. Actually yumms but not for everyone 🤭

Again, I gotta mention again, u HAVE TO order their homemade prawn balls, the best in KK (yasssh say me!). Very springy, not the type with banyak campuran flour 👍🏻

My mouth is watering again while editing this video hmmm.

I know this place is one of the legendary eateries in Kota Kinabalu but it was my first visit to this place.

Fast pace. U just mention what type of nasi u want (plain rice, nasi lemak or nasi kerabu), then grab your own lauk from the display. Honestly, everything looked so colourful and tempting.

In the end I took the sweet & sour fried egg and ayam percik.

The sweet & sour fried egg was so delicious. Not spicy at all, slightly tangy and very appetising. I honestly wouldn’t mind eating just plain rice with this.

The ayam percik was nice and creamy with a light level of spiciness. You can taste the slight char on the chicken which made it even more fragrant. The breast part was a little dry though.

The portion of raw vegetables (diced long beans and beansprouts) for the nasi kerabu was really generous. It helped balance out the richness of the rice, which I really likey 😍

We also ordered Bandung and teh C. Both were refreshing and not overly sweet. Perfect.

📍Lucky Noodle House, Lintas Square

This is my second visit since their opening. I remember I didn’t like their fen and chilli oil last time. But since my friend wanted to give a try, so we went.

Ordered:

Cucumber in chilli oil: Ok, nice and flavourful although sauce wasn’t thick. The texture of the peanut was excellent, wish they could give more 🤭 it would be even nicer if they smash the cucumber instead of cutting it.

Wonton in chilli oil: we ordered medium spiciness one, enough spicy but lack of savoury taste. The soup/ oil not rich enough for my liking. Texture of the wonton ok, nice.

Pig’s heart and tongue cold dish: the sauce was too watery, less kick. Portion ok, texture ok.

Xiao loong pau: it’s not the ordinary xiao loong pau i know. The skin is not dumpling kind of texture. It’s more like pau, the lightly sticky type of pau, but much thinner. Very thick and juicy patty inside. I added in black vinegar and chilli oil in it, wowwww ok oh, I kinda like it.

I will still go back for their xiao loong pau.

So glad to be invited to experience the first Ramadan buffet at Daily Social since their soft opening.

🗓 20 Feb – 19 Mar 2026 | 6PM to 10PM

This is a quality-driven spread. Well-curated selection, not overly crowded, and consistently replenished throughout the night. The overall ex*****on and food control were impressive.

The salad and cold section stood out for me! Fresh, well-prepared, and thoughtfully presented. The beef bacon bits and garlic herb croutons added that extra touch that elevated a simple plate into something memorable.

For mains, the Rendang is a standout - rich, aromatic and beautifully balanced. The Nasi Briyani paired with Kambing Golek (marinated with 30 spices) was equally satisfying, tender and deeply flavourful.

Desserts were refined and not ur typical buffet selection. Talam Cendol, Bingka Kacang Merah, and the Carrot Pineapple Cake with caramelised walnut topping were particularly well executed.

Overall, a polished and enjoyable Ramadan dining experience. It would say this is a strong first showing for their festive buffet 👏🏻👏🏻
