One of Malaysia’s most iconic drinks TEH TARIK! “Tarik” means pull, referring to the dramatic pouring technique that creates its signature frothy top.

✨ 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙏𝙚𝙝 𝙏𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙠 𝙄𝙠𝙖𝙩 𝙏𝙚𝙥𝙞?
“Ikat tepi” literally means tied at the side—a classic way Teh Tarik is served in kopitiams and mamak stalls, packed in a plastic bag and tied on the side so you can just drink on the go.

3/7 Let me share one of my all-time favourite Malaysian comfort foods — 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐌𝐞𝐞 (𝐚𝐤𝐚 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐋𝐚𝐤𝐬𝐚) 🍜💛

A soul-warming bowl of springy noodles bathed in a rich, creamy coconut curry broth, topped with prawns, chicken, tofu puffs, cockles, and more. Every spoonful is a bold celebration of spice, heritage, and comfort.
