📰 *Upcoming Diabetes & Wound Care Workshop to Unite Healthcare Professionals in Kota Bharu*
Kota Bharu, May 2025 – A nationwide educational event titled “Diabetes & Wound Pharmacare Workshop 2025” is set to take place on 16–17 August 2025 at Renai Hotel, Kota Bharu, Kelantan. The event is expected to gather over 200 healthcare professionals from across Malaysia.
Organised by the Malaysian Community Pharmacy Guild (MCPG) Kelantan, the 2-day workshop aims to provide updates, skills, and interdisciplinary collaboration in the management of diabetes and complex wound care.
The workshop welcomes participation from:
Pharmacists
Medical doctors
Nurses
Medical assistants
Dietitians
Healthcare students

1.Updates on insulin, CGM, GLP-1 & SGLT2 therapies
2.Nutrition planning for Malaysian diabetic patients
3.Chronic wound management and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)
4.Hands-on wound care simulation sessions
5.Real case discussions with experts from USM, HRPZ II & Monash University
According to Programme Director, Pn Rozaida Mohd Yunus, the event is designed to strengthen clinical competencies and promote multidisciplinary teamwork.
“We warmly invite healthcare professionals — both from public and private sectors — to participate and learn together in this valuable platform,” she said.
The early bird fee is RM250, with student registration at RM150 for the full two-day event, inclusive of meals, CPD certificate, and lucky draw opportunities. Flexible installment options are available for early registrants.
