Honoured to share another major milestone in urological care at Gleneagles Kota Kinabalu Sabah.

We recently performed the Biobot MRI–Ultrasound fusion transperineal prostate biopsy, marking the first time this advanced technique has been carried out in Sabah using the Mona Lisa Robotic Prostate Biopsy System

This technology allows for greater precision in prostate cancer diagnosis, improved detection of clinically significant prostate cancers, and a lower risk of infection compared to conventional methods.

A very fulfilling week with two back to back cases of robotic assisted radical prostatectomy for localised prostate cancer. Robotic surgery allows very quick post surgical recovery and shorter hospital stay. Kudos to the whole team 🤩
