There’s a quiet kind of grief that comes with growing up.
Not the loud, visible kind people gather around… but the kind you carry in between your daily routines.
You grieve the version of you who didn’t know this kind of disappointment.
The people you thought would stay.
The life you were so sure would unfold a certain way.
And no one really prepares you for that part.
That becoming who you are also means letting go of who you thought you’d be.
But somewhere in the middle of all that loss… something shifts.
You start choosing differently.
You start seeing clearly.
You start building a life that feels more honest, even if it looks nothing like the one you imagined.
Maybe that’s what adulting really is.
Not having it all together… but learning how to hold yourself through everything that falls apart.
