As the curtain closes and marks the end of Nutrition Month 2016, the dietitians of IJN would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who extended your help and support to our meaningful event! Even though Nutrition Month 2016 is over, we hope that everyone will always celebrate the goodness of "Get Five, Colour Your Life" in your daily diet! Red fruits and vegetables are generally rich in lycopene, ellagic acid, quercetin, anthocyanidins with may support prostate, urinary tract health, protect us from cancers and heart disease too!
Don't forget to include tomatoes, beetroot, red chili, red onions, watermelon, plums, strawberries, cherries, pomegranate and others into your meals. 🍎🍉🍒🍓🍅 let's "Get Five, Colour Your Life"! 😉😋

Green fruits and vegetables are generally rich in lutein, zeaxanthin, isoflavones, EGCG, indoles and flavonids which may support eye health, arterial function, lung health, liver function, cell health. They may help in wound healing and gum health too!
Welcome to join the cooking demonstration sessions by IJN dietitians on every Tuesday and Thursday throughout April at IJN Main Lobby, 12-12.30pm. We'll share with you salivating cuisines featuring green and red fruits and vegetables this week!
