When it comes to Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT), quality isn’t just about what hormone you use.
It’s about how it’s made.

The precision of compounding plays a crucial role in how your body absorbs and responds to treatment.
Even details like the particle size of micronised progesterone can influence how well patients sleep, regulate mood, and maintain symptom stability.

That’s why not all compounded hormones are equal.
✅ Pharmaceutical-grade ingredients
✅ Ultra-fine particle formulations
✅ Strict quality control
✅ Trusted, PCCA-affiliated compounding partners

These are the standards that ensure consistency, purity, and results you can feel.

🟣 Now, there's one little step you can take today:
Before starting BHRT, ask one key question. "How is it compounded?”

Because at the end of the day, your BHRT is only as effective as the quality behind it.

Here’s the 4th episode of our five-part Menopause & BHRT Series.
In this video, Dr. Christina Tai breaks down which hormones help with common menopause symptoms.

She also shares real patient stories, women who overcame years of exhaustion, anxiety, and loss of confidence after starting BHRT and finding balance again.

If any of these stories resonate with you, share this with a friend or family member who might need to hear that they’re not alone, and that help is available.

Coming up next and final:
Why quality matters in BHRT treatment.

Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) is more than symptom relief. It’s a structured, evidence-based approach to restoring hormonal balance.

Before treatment, a hormonal profile test is done to understand your body’s baseline. From there, your doctor designs a customised BHRT plan based on your test results, symptoms, and lifestyle.
Follow-up assessments help ensure your hormone levels remain in an optimal range, keeping your treatment safe, effective, and personalised over time.

✨Save this for your next doctor visit and share it with a friend who’s starting to notice changes.

In the next episode of our Menopause & BHRT Series,
Dr. Christina Tai discusses which hormones support your most common menopausal symptoms.

Perimenopause isn’t a sudden event, it’s a gradual hormonal transition that can begin years before menopause.
Yet many women dismiss early signs like poor sleep, anxiety, or brain fog as “just stress.”

Early awareness matters.
That’s when support such as Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) can help stabilise hormonal changes before symptoms worsen.

In this video, we’ll help you recognise which stage you’re in and understand when BHRT may be an option to restore balance and improve quality of life.

Stay tuned for the next episode in the Menopause & BHRT Series, where Dr Christina Tai shares what to expect when you start BHRT.

Many women hesitate when they hear the word “hormones.”
But here’s what most don’t realise about BHRT (Bio-identical Hormone Replacement Therapy):

• BHRT isn’t the same as the synthetic hormones used in the WHI study (2002) — the one that caused widespread fear.
• Bio-identical hormones are structurally identical to the ones your body naturally produces.
• When started around the time of menopause and properly monitored, studies show BHRT can be safe and effective in relieving symptoms and supporting long-term health.
• It’s not about “more hormones”, it’s about restoring what the body is no longer producing in the right amounts.

In this video, Dr Christina Tai shares why women don’t need to suffer in silence and how the right treatment can help them feel like themselves again.

Stay tuned for the next episode in the Menopause & BHRT Series.

Synthetic vs Bio-identical Hormones: Why the Difference Matters

After discussing the importance of all three hormones in women’s health, this video, we are addressing one of the BIGGEST misconceptions in hormone therapy.

Highlights:
❌ New guidelines often say no hormones after 60 but these are based on studies using synthetic progestins (like Prempro, Provera, norethindrone).
✅ These synthetic hormones cancel out the benefits of estrogen and have been linked to heart attacks, strokes, clots and breast cancer.
✅ Bio-identical progesterone and estradiol are NOT the same. In 50+ years of literature, no study has shown harm when using bio-identical hormones correctly.
✅ Women can safely stay on bio-identical estrogen and progesterone long-term (even past 60), when monitored properly.

📍 Why this matters to us as a BHRT compounding pharmacy:
Because misinformation keeps women fearful of treatment that could protect their bones, heart, brain and intimate health. We are here to educate, personalise and deliver high-quality BHRT that’s backed by science, not outdated studies.

This is more than hormone therapy.
It’s about restoring trust in women’s health.

Vaginal dryness, pain during intimacy, or recurring UTIs

Almost half of menopausal women experience these symptoms, yet many stay silent because they think it’s “normal” or “just part of aging”.

This condition has a name, it’s called GSM (Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause) and more importantly, it has solutions.

Treatments such as vaginal estrogen, DHEA and compounded therapies are available. These aren’t about vanity; they’re about quality of life. You deserve comfort, pleasure and confidence at every age.
