There are days you feel far from Allah.

Not rebellious.
Not disconnected on purpose.
Just… far.

Your du‘ā’ feels quiet.
Your heart feels heavy.
Your words feel like they don’t rise the way they used to.

But distance is a feeling.
Nearness is a promise.

And Al-Qarīb is not the One who moves away.

He is near in the breath you just took.
Near in the ache you cannot explain.
Near in the tears that come without warning.
Near in the whisper you didn’t realise was a prayer.

You may feel far.
But He is closer than your pulse.

Ya Al-Qarīb,
when my heart feels distant, remind me You are not.
Meet me in the quiet.
Meet me in the in-between.
Meet me where I am...not where I pretend to be.

We all crave love that feels safe, steady, and sincere. Yet in our human relationships, love can sometimes be tested - by pride, by impatience, by hurt left unspoken.

Al-Wadūd reminds us that true love is not about perfection, but about mercy.
It is love that forgives quickly, gives without expecting, and stays rooted in sincerity.
It is the kind of love our beloved Prophet ﷺ embodied: gentle, patient, and always drawing hearts closer to Allah.

Ya Allah, teach us to love with sincerity, to give without pride, to forgive without delay.
Let our love be a reflection of Yours — pure, enduring, and healing.

There are moments when life leaves us cracked, carrying disappointments that feel too heavy, silences that echo too long.
In those moments, we may wonder if our hearts will ever feel whole again.

But Al-Jabbār is not only the One who mends what is broken - He restores with tenderness.
He takes the fragments of our hurt and reshapes them into strength.
He reminds us that softness is not weakness, but a sign that Mercy still flows within us.

When we feel hardened, He restores gentleness.
When we feel lost, He restores direction. When we feel unseen, He restores dignity.

Ya Allah, make us tender again...with ourselves, with others.
Let our softness be a reflection of Your Mercy, a quiet strength that carries us through.

In the stillness, we find You.
In the restoration, we find hope.

Some days your heart feels far away.

You pray… but feel nothing.
You see pain… but stay unmoved.
And you quietly wonder, What happened to me?

Maybe it isn’t hardness.
Maybe it’s a heart that has carried too much for too long.

Ar-Raḥmān softens what life has worn down.
He restores what feels numb.
He pours mercy into places you thought had dried up.

Ya Ar-Raḥmān,
let my heart feel what matters.
Let compassion wake me gently.
Make me tender again.

Some wounds never got closure.
They just got quieter.

You learned to smile over them.
To function around them.
To call it strength.

But Allah knows where it still hurts.

Ash-Shāfī sees the ache behind your composure.
The tears you swallowed.
The version of you that never got comfort.

And He is not rushing you.
He is not shaming you.
He is healing you...gently, deeply, unseen.

Ya Ash-Shāfī,
enter the places I’ve avoided.
Soften what hardened.
Restore what I thought was lost in me.

In the stillness…
He is already mending what you thought was permanent.

You built walls to survive.
And Allah understood why.

He saw the betrayal.
He heard the silent du‘ā’ you couldn’t even form into words.
He knew the moment your heart decided, “Never again.”

And yet… He is Al-Latīf.

He does not tear down your walls.
He softens them.
Gently. Slowly. Mercifully.

His gentleness is in the delay that protected you.
In the heartbreak that redirected you.
In the unanswered prayer that saved you from what you could not see.

Ya Latīf,
I am tired of bracing myself for impact.
Teach my heart to bend without breaking.
Let my softness be rooted in trust, not fear.

Strength is not always loud.
Sometimes it is a heart that chooses to remain gentle
in a world that taught it to harden.

Tonight, whisper:
“Ya Latīf, be gentle with what still hurts inside me.”

We often rush through life carrying numbness: skimming past the ache, overlooking the joy, forgetting the softness that once made our hearts alive.
Yet even when we forget, Al‑Wahhāb, The Giver of Gifts, continues to pour His generosity upon us.

Every breath, every chance to feel again, every moment of remembrance - these are His gifts. Ramadan is the season where we pause long enough to notice them.
To awaken to the tenderness He places in our hearts. To realize that even silence is a gift, because it draws us nearer to Him.

In the stillness, we don’t just find peace - we find the One who gives endlessly.
The One who revives what we thought was lost.
The One who reminds us that to feel, to soften, to return… is itself a gift.

In the stillness, there is You.
In the stillness, there is Al‑Wahhāb.

There are seasons when the heart forgets the language of prayer : words feel heavy, silence stretches long, and turning to Allah feels harder than turning away.
Not from lack of love, but from weariness.
Yet Allah responds even there.
He answers the quiet longing beneath the silence, the unspoken call hidden in the chest.
Sometimes, remembering His Name is already a response.

Today, let remembrance be simple and unforced, and trust that even your quiet turning is being met with mercy.

There are losses we still carry quietly : the words we never said, the choices we wish we could undo, the parts of ourselves we buried just to survive. Sometimes repentance comes not as words, but as tears we don’t fully understand.
Allah does not turn away from a breaking heart. He receives even our tears as worship, our grief as prayer, our returning as beloved...again and again.

Today, let yourself turn back as you are, trusting that nothing offered to Him is ever wasted.

There are days we drift without meaning to, pulled by distractions, routine, and quiet numbness. Days that feel hollow, where faith is present, but distant. Yet even then, Allah is near, guiding us in ways we may only recognise later.
He does not ask us to return perfectly. He asks us to return honestly : to show up with longing, with presence, with a heart that still wants Him.

Today, let your longing be enough, and trust that every sincere step is already being gently guided.

A Gentle Ramadan Message for Muslims with Unique Struggles

This Ramadan, I think of those whose bodies ache with illness, whose minds wrestle with depression or anxiety, whose hearts feel heavy with guilt or loneliness.

I think of those who take medication to stay well, those who find fasting unsafe, those who struggle to pray in congregation, and those who feel misunderstood in their families.

I think of those whose worship looks different - sometimes strong, sometimes fragile - yet whose sincerity is always seen by Allah.

Your effort counts, even when it feels small.
Your worship is not invalid because it looks different.
Allah knows the weight you carry, and He honors the sincerity of your heart.

You are not behind; you are walking your own path to Him.
🤍🌙
