Composite picture- to improve sentence making and narrative skill βΊοΈ
A collection of picture scenes with lots of details. Great for targeting goals on descriptive language, taking language samples, assessing fluency as they are talking about the scene, etc... Found these by searching on Google images. I saved them on my iPad Camera Roll and then imported them all into one PDF document in the iBooks app. The cool thing about using them on an iPad is that you can zoom in if you need to focus on details in a particular part of the scene. See the comments section on this album for info on how to save several pics from your Camera Roll to a single PDF document in the iBooks app.

Update: I just stumbled upon two different illustrators' blogs and hit the motherloads of full sized detailed illustrated scenes. The key is to do a long press on a pic, select open "open in new tab", then go to that tab, long press, save pic. Those will be the full screen pics.. http://blog30x30.blogspot.com/search/label/Highlights%20for%20Children & http://carmen-ilustradora.blogspot.com/2011/05/posters-educacion-infantil.html.
I now have an 80 page PDF of these saved out in the iBooks app on my iPad. Pretty sure that is more than enough to use in therapy sessions until I retire in 22 weeks π.

**** Update 5/6/19: I saved the 93 picture scenes into one PDF on my blog: https://bit.ly/2VRGJFS *****

**** Update 3/30/20: I have reshared these for those who may find them helpful as SLPs around the world are scrambling to provide therapy virtually via teletherapy in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. I am extremely grateful that I've been retired almost two years. Just doing volunteer work now and posting again frequently to help share resources and info about apps during these trying times. I have all my fellow SLPs in my prayers ππΌ. For anyone asking βAre they copyrighted?β. These are just a collection of images I found on the internet several years ago. They arenβt being sold. Just being shared in case they would be helpful. ~ Angela ****

*** Update 3/31/20 - Added in the comments section on this post - a video screencast of me going through the steps to add the PDF to the iBooks app. Iβm on an iPhone 7 running iOS 13.3.1 so the steps may be/look slightly different on an iPad or a different iOS. Make sure you have a strong WiFi connection and be patient as you wait for the PDF to fully open (itβs a large document with 93 color pics). Link to the PDF: https://bit.ly/2VRGJFS. It's too big of a document to send via e-mail. You can either share by e-mailing the link or by sharing this post on Facebook.
Hope this helps π

***** Update 5/27/20: Please do NOT upload these to SeeSaw, TinyTap, Boom Cards, Teachers Pay Teachers or any other platform. I am only sharing them as a resource to either print or to save and use in the iBooks (Apple Books) app on your iPad (or the comparable equivalent on an Android tablet.
