I met Mommy Sharon around November last year. She is a mother who was very eager to learn and deeply committed to her breastfeeding journey. At that time, she was experiencing breast engorgement, struggling with low milk supply, and feeling exhausted from frequent latching and pumping.
With proper guidance, she managed to resolve her engorgement. However, the tiredness remained, and she found it difficult to relax and truly enjoy breastfeeding. When she came back again seeking advice, I gently encouraged her to relax and keep breastfeeding simple. I reassured her about comfortable positions, including side-lying, and emphasized the importance of balance—between caring for her baby, herself, and breastfeeding.
I am truly grateful to witness her milk supply grow from low supply to fully breastfeeding on demand. Today, her child is already 13 months old and still breastfeeding—a beautiful and healthy baby. Meeting her again brought me so much joy.
Her breastfeeding journey reminds me why I do what I do. Watching her grow in confidence, finding her rhythm, and learning to trust her body was deeply moving. Her success is not just about milk supply—it’s about perseverance, courage, and self-belief. She made it, and so can you. You are stronger than you think, and you don’t have to walk this journey alone.
