You may not know how different type of eyeglasses lenses work to correct your vision. Let's learn a thing or two about them!
1️⃣ Single vision lens
👉🏻 The most common type of eyeglasses lens.
👉🏻 The largest field of vision because it only correct vision at one specific distance (either far or near).
2️⃣ Bifocal lens
👉🏻 Multifocal, meaning it has two different "powers" in them.
👉🏻 The different sections of the lens correct distance vision and near vision.
👉🏻 Prescribed for people with multiple vision problems.
3️⃣ Trifocals lens
👉🏻 Have an additional power to correct intermediate vision.
👉🏻 The intermediate portion may be used to view a computer screen.
👉🏻 Have a distinct line between each field of vision which makes the sections of the lens produce drastically different vision.
4️⃣ Progressive lens
👉🏻 Work for anyone who needs bifocals and trifocals.
👉🏻 Provides the same correction for near, intermediate, and distance vision.
