Kanser pankreas mungkin jarang didengar, tapi kesannya sangat besar. 😔
Masalahnya, gejala awal sering tidak disedari, oleh sebab itu ramai pesakit hanya tahu bila sudah di peringkat lanjut.
Tanda-tanda seperti kulit kuning, sakit perut atau belakang, hilang selera makan dan berat badan turun mendadak jangan diambil ringan.
Walaupun kanser ini berbahaya, masih ada harapan jika dikesan awal.
Mulakan langkah dengan gaya hidup sihat dan pemeriksaan berkala.

💜 Kesedaran hari ini boleh selamatkan nyawa esok.

First in Negeri Sembilan: Advanced Treatment for Impacted Bile Duct Stone

Mawar Medical Centre is proud to be the first in Negeri Sembilan to use the Boston Scientific Autolith™ Touch Biliary EHL System to successfully break an impacted stone in the bile duct.

The patient would have otherwise required major surgery in the Klang Valley. With this advanced technology, we provided a minimally invasive solution, avoiding the need for open surgery.

The procedure was done together with my friend, Dr James Emmanuel, who has performed hundreds of Spyglass™ ERCP procedures.

We’re bringing advanced GI care closer to home.

Another Thursday, another ESG.

Thursday has naturally become my ESG day — not by design, but because clinics are closed and I get some space to focus.

Today’s patient has been struggling with her weight for many years. She has tried everything — diets, workouts, advice — but nothing really stuck.

We had a heartfelt chat before the procedure. She spoke about her frustration, exhaustion, and her hope to feel like herself again.

Moments like these remind me — ESG isn’t just a procedure. It’s a reset. Not magic, not instant. But a real, honest chance.

One patient at a time. One journey at a time. 🙏

Khamis lagi, ESG lagi.

Khamis secara tak langsung jadi hari ESG saya — sebab klinik tutup, dan saya boleh fokus lebih.

Pesakit hari ini dah lama bergelut dengan berat badan. Dia dah cuba macam-macam — diet, senaman, nasihat — tapi susah nak kekal.

Kami sempat berbual panjang sebelum prosedur. Dia luahkan keletihan, kekecewaan, dan harapan untuk rasa diri sendiri semula.

Saat-saat macam ni ingatkan saya — ESG bukan sekadar prosedur. Tapi satu permulaan baru. Bukan magik, tapi satu peluang sebenar.

Seorang pesakit, satu perjalanan. 🙏

又是星期四，又是一台ESG。

星期四逐渐变成我做ESG的日子，因为这天诊所休息，我能专注做这项治疗。

今天的病人是一位多年受体重困扰的女士。她尝试过各种方法——节食、运动、听建议——但都无法维持。

手术前我们聊了很久。她谈到自己的疲惫、沮丧，还有重新找回自己的渴望。

每当这种时刻，我都会提醒自己：ESG不仅是一种治疗，更是一种重新出发的机会。

一步一脚印，一位病人一个故事。🙏

மறுமொரு வியாழன், மறுமொரு ESG.

வியாழன் எனது ESG நாளாக மாறிவிட்டது — க்ளினிக் இல்லை, சற்று அமைதியாக இருக்கும்.

இன்றைய நோயாளர் பல வருடங்களாக தன்னுடைய உடல் எடையுடன் போராடி வருகிறார். டையட், பயிற்சி, ஆலோசனை — அனைத்தும் முயற்சி செய்திருக்கிறார். ஆனால் எதுவும் நீடிக்கவில்லை.

Procedureக்கு முன்னால் நாங்கள் நெஞ்சுக்குள் பேசிக்கொண்டோம். அவளது மனவலி, சோர்வு மற்றும் "தன்னை" மீண்டும் உணரவேண்டும் என்ற ஆசையை பகிர்ந்தார்.

ESG என்பது வெறும் ஒரு சிகிச்சை அல்ல — ஒரு புதிய துவக்கம். இதுவே ஒரு வாய்ப்பு.

ஒவ்வொரு நோயாளியும், ஒவ்வொரு பயணமும். 🙏

Another day, another endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty (ESG)

Flanked by both my ESG trained GIAs, without whom none of these would be possible.

For this patient, we used a total of 5 sutures and the total cost was RM25,000 which is very comparable to the surgical bariatric.

Patient was discharged the following day. Will upload the pictures soon.
