The general meeting is precedented with a set of talks on Wound Management Care given by SN Nadia Hanim Hakimi, Wound Care Nurse (since 2020) and Ms Lai Hsiaw Yie, Senior Product Specialist, ConvaTec Malaysia - Wound Care (since 2016). We are deeply honored and grateful to have sharing session and talks with extensive references and experience by both of the speaker which is very beneficial in extending the support in healthcare in the community.
The talk is heavily curated to cater the introduction and management from simple acute wound and chronic wound especially diabetic wound. The talk is closed with ostomy care. Did you know that you could run and be active even with ostomy bag and new innovation in the new product with filter for odor?
We are also honored with the presence of Hon. Prof. Amrahi Buang, President of Malaysian Pharmacists Society for gracing the opening ceremony with a talk entitled Pharmacist for Malaysia; Advancing the Profession Together. A thoughtful talk for pharmacist to ride the wave together in the progress of the pharmacy profession in Malaysia.
The AGM is chaired by the Chairman of MPS Pahang, Prof. Dr. Mohamad Haniki bin Nik Mohamed, presenting the minute of previous AGM, activities and financial report of MPS Pahang on 2025.
We also hold an appreciation ceremony for Pn Salina binti Setan, former TPKN (F) Pahang for her kind contribution as our former advisor during her tenure. We are thankful for her advise and her vision in collaboration with MPS for pharmacy activities in Pahang. We hope that the collaboration will be expanded to all pharmacist in Pahang especially, in envisioning the MPS aim to uphold and enhance the standard of the profession.
