What is the difference between screening and comprehensive eye checkup? 👀

📌 Vision screening only screens with limited testing material. Usually, screening only test for visual distance acuity. If necessary, the patient will be referred to optometrist.

📌 Comprehensive eye checkup provides in-depth exam using high-quality equipment. Assessment includes visual acuity, overall eye health and refractive status. A licensed optometrist will diagnose and determining the need of correcting eyewear or referrals to ophthalmologist.
