🌱Elevating Sustainability: IAQ Assessment at Courtyard Melaka by Marriott🌱

Airscan Malaysia is proud to contribute to the sustainability journey of Courtyard by Marriott Melaka As part of the Platinum certification requirements, we conducted a comprehensive Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) assessment from December 2nd to 5th, 2024.

We extend our gratitude to Mr. Siva, Chief Engineer of Courtyard Melaka, for his support and collaboration throughout the process. Together, we’re creating healthier indoor environments while championing green building initiatives.

Making the first step for better air quality in Malaysia! 🌍🌿

As ’s partner in Malaysia, today we placed the first Kunak AirPro at the Department of Environment’s reference station in Petaling Jaya. This collaborative effort was made possible thanks to the support of Prof Juliana Jalaludin, Head of Research Project, Air Quality and Health Impact at the Universiti Putra Malaysia.

Together, we are committed to advancing air quality monitoring technology under the guidance of the Department of Environment (DoE), which operates under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability (NRES).

The purpose of this exercise is to verify the accuracy of the Kunak sensor against the DoE's reference station over the next three months. This process is crucial for the long-term validation of real-time outdoor monitoring sensors, ensuring data reliability for environmental policy-making.

This marks Airscan’s first step in introducing the Kunak range of outdoor "Near-reference" station to support Malaysia’s mission for cleaner air and the development of smart and sustainable cities.

👋 Bon voyage to Hazwan Murad and Aiman Naufal Mohd Fisol!

Twenty-four weeks have flown by, and sadly, it's time to say goodbye to our awesome interns! We hope your time with us provided valuable learning and work experiences. From packing IAQ assessment gadgets into our pick-up truck to writing comprehensive reports after assessments, you both were always ready to help make each project a success.

We are honored that you chose us for your and allowed us to witness your growth as you learned the ropes of many exciting projects. This included conducting (IAQ) assessments in hospitals and government buildings, measuring and providing key data for the process, and assisting with the installation of air monitoring sensors in hospitals across Malaysia. 🏥 🇲🇾

Let's not forget our time together at the recent APHM International Healthcare Conference & Exhibition 2024. We were so proud watching you both carry yourselves with confidence as you explained what we do to our visitors. Who knew Naufal and Hazwan would turn out to be such well-rounded and truly awesome interns? ✨😎

This year, Airscan Malaysia is thrilled to introduce our newest department, Airscan Technologies, along with our cutting-edge gadgets designed to enhance air quality in your building. Check out our Air Pro for outdoor air monitoring, Torobot for duct cleaning, and the Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) for improving indoor air. We are honored as well to have Minister of Health, YB Datuk Seri Dr. Haji Dzulkefly Ahmad, visit our booth after launching the event on Tuesday.
