Ever feel a deep, aching pain in your muscles that doesn’t seem to go away — even with rest or massage?

You could be dealing with Myofascial Pain Syndrome (MPS).
It’s caused by tight bands in your muscles (called trigger points) that refer pain to other areas.

Common signs include:
🔸 Stiff, sensitive muscles
🔸 “Knots” that hurt when pressed
🔸 Pain that spreads or radiates
🔸 Trouble sleeping due to discomfort

Think you have sciatica? It might actually be piriformis syndrome.

This small muscle deep in the buttock can tighten up from too much sitting, overuse, or poor posture — and press on the sciatic nerve, causing pain that mimics sciatica.

⚠️ The symptoms can be almost identical:

Pain in one buttock or down the leg

Tingling or numbness

Worse after sitting, driving, or walking uphill

But the cause is different — and that means the approach should be too.
