Based on the symptoms described, the radiating pain from the buttock to the back of the leg, worsened by activities like walking, standing, and prolonged sitting, could indeed indicate a potential issue with the sciatic nerve. While slipped discs are a common cause of sciatica, other factors such as nerve entrapment could also be at play.

To confirm the cause of the pain, TCM practitioner Toa Boon Seng performed specific tests, including the Straight leg raise test and Bragard's test, which yielded negative results. This suggests that the pain is not caused by a slipped disc but rather by nerve entrapment.

In response to the diagnosis, Mr. Toa performed acupotomy treatment near the Sacroiliac joints to address the tensed muscles contributing to the nerve entrapment.
