SELGATE proudly powered the Twincity Marathon, a high-energy event that brought together over 21,000 participants in a shared celebration of health, fitness and community spirit.
Held within Putrajaya, the 3KM and 10KM categories brought runners of all backgrounds to the starting line, making the event more than just a race. It was a vibrant gathering driven by positive energy, determination and a shared commitment to well-being.
The event was officiated by Dr Nurul Mu'az Omar, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Selgate Healthcare, alongside Tengku Iesta Tengku Alaudin, Chief Strategy Officer of Selgate Healthcare; and Ir. Haji Ab Rahim Bin Md Junoh, Chief Executive Officer of PULSE Group, marking a meaningful start to the day for all participants.
As part of our commitment to community health, SELGATE supported the event through its subsidiaries, Selcare Clinic, Selcare Nursing, Selcare Pharmacy and Selgate Specialist Hospital Rawang. Participants and visitors benefited from free health screenings, complimentary physiotherapy and sports massage sessions, as well as exclusive pharmacy products offered at discounts of up to 70%. Results from the health screenings could also be referred to and tracked through the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) feature available in the Selangkah application. SELGATE’s holistic approach to community care was positively acknowledged by YBhg. Dato’ Haji Mohd Sakeri bin Abdul Kadir, President of Putrajaya Corporation, who commended the organisation for its meaningful contribution towards health initiatives.
Reinforcing SELGATE’s commitment, Dr Selva Ganesan A/L Sockalingam, Consultant Obstetrics and Gynaecologist from Selgate Specialist Hospital Rawang, shared his knowledge and expertise on women’s health, training and fitness for endurance training, empowering participants with valuable insights to support their long-term well-being.
Seeing people from young to old taking the initiative to prioritise their health while connecting with one another was inspiring. We hope to be a part of many meaningful events like this in the future.
