Sukacita dimaklumkan bahawa Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi (KPT) dengan kerjasama Jabatan Surgeri, Hospital Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah (HSAAS), Universiti Putra Malaysia , SK Rinching Hilir dan JPKK Kampung Batu 5,Bangi menganjurkan program CAKNA KOMUNITI: Pemindahan Ilmu Kesedaran Kanser Payudara dan Kolorektal yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesedaran awal mengenai kanser serta kepentingan gaya hidup sihat dalam kalangan masyarakat.

Maklumat program adalah seperti berikut:

6 October, we successfully conducted the eXroid Haemorrhoid Treatment Workshop 2025 on advances in haemorrhoid management, held at our Surgery Daycare 😇

The session brought together surgeons from various centres to explore innovative approaches and new options in haemorrhoid treatment.

Led by Dr. Syakir Azahar and the surgical team, the workshop featured hands-on demonstrations and case discussions highlighting practical applications and patient outcomes.

Last year today, we performed an emergency splenectomy — a procedure we don’t see often! 🔪

The patient had a splenic abscess secondary to infective endocarditis that failed conservative treatment. Hence, splenectomy was the only option.

Splenic abscesses are rare but deadly if missed. Early diagnosis saves lives.
