Pelvic girdle pain affects up to 1 in 5 pregnant women (20%) at some point during their pregnancy. In some studies, rates are even higher up to 50% especially in the third trimester.

Pelvic Girdle pain can show up as:

- Pain in the lower back, hips, p***c bone, or inner thighs

As a Women's Health Physiotherapist at Sasi Mina Programs, I’ve seen firsthand how many women suffer from conditions like shoulder pain, back pain, and incontinence without realizing the life-changing impact physiotherapy can have.

It’s disheartening when people struggle in silence because they’re unaware that physiotherapy could be the key to their recovery. I recently had a patient who came to see me only because a friend had recommended my services and after being treated for broad ligament pain during pregnancy was amazed by the relief.
