This next-generation technology is designed to treat moderate to severely calcified coronary artery lesions by safely fracturing calcium deposits, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of stenting and angioplasty. With its low-profile design and localised force application, the system offers improved navigation through complex lesions while minimising injury to healthy vessel tissue. Unlike other IVL systems, it requires no external energy source, simplifying the procedure.
