We’re proud to share today’s BFM 89.9 podcast with Ms Tee Shiao Eek, where we highlighted the realities of living with Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma (NPC) and the crucial role of support groups like ours.

💡 We hope this helps raise awareness, foster understanding, and encourage more people to come forward for support.

Today, 050525, I have survived 20 years from NPC - nose cancer and am a living proof that stage 3 is not only treatable but curable. While the treatment can be tough, it can be managed if the patient is guided with a better understanding of the whole treatment process. Having good peer support can make a huge difference.

Members of this support group receive the necessary support from the time of diagnosis to the completion of treatment. Members will also be guided through their post treatment short and long term side effects. A hand full of our members have survived about 20 years and can provide long term invaluable survivor experiences.
