Dear brothers, Our communications are back!
First of all, Thank you to our Grand Master H.E. Zé Costa who has also been concerned, not only about the safety of the Mozambique Priory, but also about the situation in the country. A big thank you to The KMFAP, US, Sovereign State and Hon. Ambassador James Angleton for reaching out to their brother knight and family in Mozambique.Another thank you to the beloved brothers who have contacted us and to all knights and Ladies we also inform that we are fine and alive.. so far.
The Priory of KMFAP Mozambique condemns the attacks on the human rights of Mozambicans. We condemn all physical and psychological violence against any human being. We call on the international community to condemn this indiscriminate bloodshed. We see horrific situations that are not shown on television... Death squads killing indiscriminately the innocent people...
In the world today, we see the voice of the human people demanding development and the well-being of societies and Mozambique is one of the first to carry the flag, demanding justice and prosperity.
Our Priory with NINA Cooperação e Desenvolvimento SocialCooperativa Nina have helped mozambican people, with the little we have, with the work and sweat of our faces, dirt on our clothes, but carrying the charity, solidarity, development flag, with light in our hearts. We're not one of the many NGO's with millions of usd, that do so litle... We are on the ground helping people to fulfill the ideals and genesis of our beloved Order of St. John, honoring our ancestors.
We walk in places, suburbs that anyone would be afraid of, but no one has ever attacked us, the Mozambican people are just miserable financially, they need education and development, but they are a polite, hospitable, peaceful people.
We fight to take care of and help those who need it, tomorrow it could be me or you who needs it.
We observe now common people giving their lives in a war, just asking to have leaders who work for the country. Leaders who do nothing and only care about themselves. The leaders will have less and less place in this world.
Our lives are at risk every day, but it's better to die free than to live in slavery.
We call for an Order of St. John of Jerusalem, with all brothers united and friends with each other. We stand!
We're going to resume our work tomorrow and we're asking for everyone's help to contribute whatever you can, whether it's medicine, food, clothes or money. Contact by email garciacruz@yahoo.com
Are we a order of brothers?
