Our Love Story LDR
PART 1:
I had almost given up on love.
After disappointments and heartbreak,
From a small village called Mayara, in the northern part of Namibia (Kavango Region),
I decided to try online dating knowing it wouldn’t be easy.
Scammers, empty intentions, and men asking for nudes tested my patience daily.
But through prayer and faith, I kept believing that if love was meant for me, God would lead me to it.
At the same time, over 8,000 kilometers (about 5,000 miles).
Daii had also given up on love.
A friend encouraged him to try a dating app not with expectations, but with honesty.
Our profiles were clear from the start:
• Serious relationships only
• Respect first
• No nudes
We started chatting on the app, then later moved to Instagram just as friends, simply getting to know each other
Different countries.
Different cultures.
Different skin tones.
But the same values.
After one month, we decided to date.
Friendship grew into connection, and connection grew into love.
Today, we are best friends, and have decided to be sharing our journey here , hopefully to inspire and uplift someone out there going through the LDR Like Us.
We are an in*******al couple, separated by distance, borders, and time zones,
yet nothing has broken our bond.
Distance does not weaken us but rather teaches us communication, patience, and trust.
We met in the right season of life, with healed hearts and clear intentions.
We haven’t met in person yet.
But love found us anyway.
This is our beginning.
This is our long-distance journey.
Are you in a long-distance relationship?
Do you believe love can stand the challenges of distance, culture, and time zones?
