KingCup Educational Group to Reopen in 2026 with Renewed Vision and Excellence
Windhoek, Namibia – KingCup Educational Group wishes to address the public and valued stakeholders regarding the suspension of academic intakes and institutional operations from 2022 to 2025. This decision, though difficult, was made in the best interest of maintaining our long-standing commitment to quality education, institutional integrity, and future growth.
The pause in operations was primarily due to a comprehensive internal restructuring and strategic realignment process. As an education provider with multiple specialized institutions—including KingCup University, KingCup Private School, and KingCup Institutes for Law, Business, Medicine, and Open Learning—this period allowed us to upgrade our infrastructure, revise academic frameworks, and comply with evolving national regulatory and accreditation standards.
Why the Pause Was Necessary:
To align with upcoming educational reforms and policy compliance requirements
To implement advanced systems for academic quality assurance and digital learning
To rebuild and expand our campuses to meet future growth demands
To strengthen partnerships with local and international academic bodies
Looking Ahead to 2026: A Fresh Start with Renewed Excellence
We are proud to announce that KingCup Educational Group will reopen for full academic operations in 2026. This reopening marks the beginning of a bold new era of innovation, excellence, and inclusive access to education.
What to Expect:
New academic programs in high-demand sectors
Smart classrooms and digital platforms for blended learning
A renewed focus on student-centered development and career readiness
Affordable, accessible, and accredited qualifications
An expanded faculty of dedicated, top-tier educators
A Message to Our Stakeholders:
“We understand the challenges posed by our pause in operations, but this was not a shutdown — it was a strategic step back to leap forward. The time we invested in planning, rebuilding, and realigning will bear fruit in 2026. KingCup Educational Group is returning stronger, sharper, and more focused than ever,” said the Group Managing Director.
We are deeply grateful for the continued support and trust from our students, parents, partners, and community. Together, we are building a brighter academic future for Namibia and beyond.
Applications for 2026 intake will officially open in October 2025.
