The Beauty is an asset endowed by nature, but beauty is more than just the outward attributes of face, form and demeanor. True beauty lies in the inner self-concern, care and love for one’s fellow men and women. These are the commendable values the Miss Youth Namibia Committee attempts to instill in our young ladies by encouraging them to take part in beauty contests organized specially for the pu
rpose of charity. Besides generating funds, such contests provide the opportunity for the young women to be exposed to community services. It serves as a means of focusing attention on the social responsibility and obligations which organizations and individuals have to undertake in the service of others. It is proposed to attach the Miss Youth Namibia to the Health Desk, whose responsibilities will be the Health and Gender, issues young women face and social welfare.
