Dr. Mberira - Private Practice Registered Clinical Psychologist practicing in the Windhoek Central Area. Dr. Mberira received a BSc Applied Psychology at Cardiff University, Wales.

Dr. Mara Mberira is a Fulbright Scholar and a Registered Clinical Psychologist practicing in the Windhoek Central Area. Dr. Mberira is currently in Private Practice and a Lecturer in the Psychology department at the University of Namibia. A MSc in Counselling Psychology, City University London. She went on to earn a doctorate in clinical psychology from Howard University, Washington, DC. As well as a pre-doctoral internship at Stony Brook University Counselling Centre, NY. Dr. Mberira works with local adults, adolescents, and couples. She has a special interest in and experience working with individuals who struggle with managing loss, life transitions, relationships, parenting concerns, and the impact of substance and drug addiction on individuals, couples and the family. She teaches Therapeutic Techniques, Systems Theories and Health Psychology. She also supervises student trainees.
