Congratulations to our Graduates!

Today, NamPower is proud to celebrate the culmination of years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance with the graduation of the Vocational Training Centre’s Class of 2025!

We celebrate our graduates’ transition from apprentice/trainees to skilled artisans, ready to contribute to NamPower, to Namibia's energy landscape, and to the world.

Speaking at the Graduation ceremony, the acting Managing Director, Ben Mingeli, said that NamPower prides itself in capacity and skills building of young people through vocational training – “We are not only teaching theory—we are equipping our trainees and employees alike, with the skills to design, build, and adapt to the demands of modern industry.” He encouraged the graduates to be open to entrepreneurship and self-empowerment.

The Pasop Stay Safe roadshow has officially come to an end in the Zambezi, Kavango East and West regions. Over the past 2 weeks, the NamPower team engaged with the communities and learners across these three regions, raising awareness on electrical safety and the dangers of vandalising and damaging infrastructure.

Thank you to all communities for the warm welcome and the active participation throughout the campaign. Remember to always stay safe.

Yesterday, the NamPower team was in Nkurenkuru, engaging with the community at Shoprite and Elcin Nkurenkuru High School, sharing the importance of protecting electrical infrastructures and the dangers of vandalism and theft of these structures.
