This page is created to disseminate information to the students and general public. The National Association of University Students (NAUS) is the highest decision making body for students studying in institutions of higher learning from the university cadre with over
twenty (20) million members both in Nigeria and abroad. The Association is committed to the development of students and young leaders in governance at all levels; with the core
interests of protecting the dignity and integrity of the students, and uniting the students for academic excellence. The Campus Monitoring Committee (CMC) of the Association oversees the activities, conduct and welfare of students on campuses across Nigeria. Each state of the federation has its CMC.

FORMATION OF CONVENTION PLANNING COMMITTEE FOR THE CONDUCT OF ELECTIONS INTO THE AKWA IBOM STATE CAMPUS MONITORING COMMITTEE (NAUS)

In consolidating with the constitution and mandate of the National Association of University Students (NAUS) to ensure proper representation and coordination across our campuses, the Akwa Ibom State Executive Council has approved the formation of a Convention Planning Committee (CPC).

This committee will be responsible for organizing and overseeing the election for the new leadership of the association in the state.

This committee shall work in accordance to the provisions of THE CONSTITUTION OF THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF UNIVERSITY STUDENTS (NAUS) as enshrined in article 42 section 45.

The composition of the Convention Planning Committee shall include the following individuals:

1. Comr. Ubong David - Chairman - Uniuyo

2. Comr. Remedy Effiong - Secretary - AKSU

3. Comr. Sunny Anietic Akwaowo - Member - Ritman University

4. Comr. Aniekeme Otong - Adviser - Stakeholder

5. Comr. Ini-obong Uko - Adviser - Stakeholders Chairman S/S

This committee is expected to commence activities immediately. We trust that this responsibility will be executed with utmost diligence, transparency, and commitment to the ideals of NAUS.

On behalf of the vibrant university students in Akwa Ibom State, under the auspices of the National Association of University Students, Campus Monitoring Committee, Akwa Ibom State, we extend our warmest congratulations to His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno and the entire people of Akwa Ibom State on the momentous occasion of our state's 37th anniversary.
