The Humans of Rutis Cafe 😀

I have a customer that only calls to order whenever he is about to eat.

He calls with such urgency that disorient us sometimes.
No matter how much we encourage him to buy and keep he will not, he will disturb and wait until he gets his bottle of tigernut drink before he starts eating.

😊 we love him but don’t like his style 😁 we have been managing our chaotic relationship like that for a while 😂

We stopped major production and sales for about three months due to power failure 😞

As a business, I have faced several challenges over the years. Being a wife, intentional mother and a volunteer for Girls Brigade at different levels presents a unique kind of challenge.

I will also confess that I haven’t given the business my whole in terms of marketing and retention of customers.

I’m working towards getting alternate source of power which doesn’t come cheap as well as improving on my recipes and adding more products.

I’m not sure the alternate source of power will be ready before 5th September but I will relaunch regardless.

So get ready for Rutis Cafe 2.0

Do you feel bloated? You eat just a little and your tummy feels full already?

I will advise you go on a three days detox.

Replace breakfast and dinner with smoothies and eat vegetable salad for lunch.

Here is a recipe for a green smoothie you can try.

1. Half of a medium sized cucumber
2. Small ginger
3. Two sticks of celery
4. One apple
5. One banana

Blend well and consume all.

No matter how good your product or service is not everyone will like it.

Sometime ago, I bought loave cakes from a vendor in Abakaliki. I didn’t really like it and my reason was it was dry and not moist enough.

My husband came back and ate the same cake and he said he loved it.

I have had so many great reviews since I started my business, in fact I can boldly say 99% are positive reviews.

Yet, I have received negative reviews as well.

This 1% can be error on a particular production, expectations of the customer from past experiences with similar products elsewhere, taste bud or village people 😁

As a business owner, you must take responsibility for all negative reviews. Go over the complaint and be sure to fix anything that points to you. If you check and can’t find fault, relax and understand that it is normal.

I have been on a journey to loose weight lately, boy! It hasn't been easy😢

Chai... when I was taking chocolate/milk with bread by 10pm I didn't think it will be this difficult.

I haven't let setbacks hold me from continuing my journey though.

Excuses people usually make

I don't have gym wears; come on, wear whatever you have

I don't have time to go to the gym; start at home, there are lots of exercises you can do at home.

I don't have equipment; use every and anything around the house. I have been using yams and my children for weight lifting 🤪

Eating healthy and calorie deficit is expensive; oya fast and eat once a day 🤪🤣 seriously though, it is one of the fastest ways to loose weight.

I'm emotionally down; better encouraged yourself and help yourself.
