Remembered Vividly the day I was mildly ill.
Got myself to the clinic,
A drug, Pentazocine was administered after careful triage. It was given at the usual Effective Dose and Guess what?

In a few seconds, I was singing with the angels in an undescribable environment.... the voice of the nurse calling out to the doctor that "he is in shock" echoed and all I knew was where I got to was painFree.

In a swoop, my veins were invaded, infusions began to pump in. Later saw a carton full of fluids at my bedside.

My saving grace was God and a familiar environment, I was in the hands on God and my colleagues, so having one of their own fizzle out before them......my subconscious just knew guys were panting and calling out for help.

Luckily after what looks like eternity, I returned to a physiological sleep state....

Pentazocine that was regularly used was about to take me out permanently.
