Ending gender-based violence starts with each of us. Here are ways you can help make a difference:

1. Educate Yourself and Others: Learn about the signs of abuse and the impact of gender-based violence. Share this knowledge within your community.
2. Speak Up: Challenge harmful behaviors and attitudes. Use your voice to advocate for respect and equality.
3. Support Survivors: Believe and listen to survivors. Please offer your support and resources to help them find the help they need.
4. Get Involved: Volunteer or donate to local organizations supporting gender-based violence victims.
5. Promote Consent: In all interactions, advocate for clear and enthusiastic consent.

Together, we can create a safer world for everyone. Let’s unite to end gender-based violence!

Drunk is not consent.

Maybe is not consent.

Silence is not consent.

Unconscious is not consent.

Past consent is not consent.

There is never an excuse for sexual violence. Let's uphold respect, boundaries, and dignity for all.

When you see something, could you report it to the relevant authorities?

💔 "Abuse is not always physical. It doesn’t always leave visible scars. But no one has to suffer in silence."

Emotional or psychological violence: threats, intimidation, or manipulation are also types of gender-based violence.

Let’s stand against all forms of abuse and create environments where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.

Together, we can foster a culture of support and empowerment for all individuals. 💪✨

On this International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and Girls, we stand united to end gender-based violence, especially in healthcare settings. This year's theme, "Unite to End Gender-Based Violence," resonates deeply as we recognize the unique risks women face in their workplaces.

In alignment with USAID’s Health Workforce Management (HWM) efforts, we emphasize the importance of creating safe and supportive environments for women in healthcare. By ensuring their safety and well-being, we empower all healthcare workers to thrive.

Together, let’s advocate for a world where every woman is safe and valued. 💪❤️

The Community Health Practitioner Registration Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN), in collaboration with USAID/Nigeria Health Workforce Management Activity (HWM), is delighted to invite you to the official launch of the Community Health Practitioners Standing Orders, Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Guidelines, and the Mandatory CPD Program (MCPDP) Curriculum!

This event marks a significant milestone as the CHPRBN introduces the newly revised Standing Orders for Junior Community Health Extension Workers (JCHEWs), Community Health Extension Workers (CHEWs), and Community Health Officers (CHOs).

The Standing Orders were last revised in 2015. This newly revised version separates the protocols for JCHEWs and CHEWs based on their competencies and includes the first-ever CHO-specific Standing Orders which has a module on Primary Health Care Management to better equip the CHOs in managing health facilities.

The updated Standing Orders have been digitized and illustrated to enhance learning, accessibility, and ease of reference, equipping frontline health workers with improved tools for delivering quality care.
