AMAZING EXPERIENCE WITH PARENTS ..... ✍️
COUNSEL TO PARENTS 👇
THEME: PARENTING WITH PURPOSE IN A CHANGING WORLD.
📌 Addiction to Po*******hy and Other Negative Content.
Many children are exposed to po*******hy, gambling, and violent content through unsupervised access to phones. This damages their moral compass, rewires their brains, and creates long-term struggles with guilt and addiction.
👉 What to do: Install parental controls. Discuss content openly with your children. Monitor their usage without shame but with wisdom.
📌 Anger Management.
Some children resort to violence, shouting, and emotional outbursts because they have not learned to manage anger.
👉 What to do: Teach by example. Don’t resolve conflict with yelling or aggression at home. Give children words to express their emotions.
📌 Homosexuality and Lesbianism.
Children are exposed to these ideologies through social media, cartoons, and peer groups. Confusion about identity often starts early.
👉 What to do: Teach godly identity and sexuality with love and clarity. Don’t avoid the topic—educate with truth, not fear.
📌 Effects of Bad Association.
“Evil communication corrupts good manners” (1 Cor. 15:33). Peer pressure can lead children into lying, stealing, drugs, or secret lifestyles.
👉 What to do: Know your child’s friends. Guide them to choose wisely and watch for sudden changes in attitude or speech.
📌 Character and Moral Values.
Grades are important, but character sustains the future. A child who lacks discipline, respect, or honesty is headed for destruction.
👉 What to do: Teach kindness, integrity, responsibility, and humility. Let your home reflect the values you expect from them.
📌 Parental Guidance on Mobile Phones.
Phones are tools, not toys. Unsupervised access is one of the biggest dangers to children today.
👉 What to do: Delay personal smartphones if possible. Set limits. Block inappropriate apps. Check their digital footprint.
📌 Setting Boundaries and Discipline.
Children need structure. Too much freedom leads to confusion and rebellion.
👉 What to do: Set clear house rules. Enforce discipline with love, not anger. Teach respect for authority.
📌 Managing Screen Time.
Excessive screen time affects mental health, attention span, and sleep quality.
👉 What to do: Create screen-free zones (e.g., bedroom, study time). Schedule device usage. Encourage books and physical activity.
📌 Promoting Positive Role Modeling.
Children imitate what they see, not just what they hear. Parents must be intentional role models.
👉 What to do: Be who you want your child to become. Model forgiveness, humility, faith, and hard work.
📌 Supporting Academic Success.
Children thrive when they feel supported at home. Many academic struggles are linked to low self-esteem or lack of structure.
👉 What to do: Encourage them. Help with homework. Praise effort, not just results. Create a learning-friendly environment.
📌 Consistent Communication with Your Child.
Lack of communication creates emotional distance. Don’t assume they are okay—ask, listen, and be available.
👉 What to do: Make time daily for meaningful conversation. Ask about their school day, friends, feelings, and challenges.
📌 Raising Children in the Fear of God
Spiritual foundation is the strongest foundation. A child who fears God will make better life decisions.
👉 What to do: Pray with your children. Teach them scripture. Take them to church and let your lifestyle reflect Christ.
📝 Remember, you are your child’s first teacher. The home is the first school. What you tolerate at home will manifest in public. Let’s work together to raise excellent, responsible, and godly children.
I'm rooting for all the parents ❤.
