GOVERN YOUR THOUGHTS RUTHLESSLY
This rule is absolutely necessary in all stages of life if you wish to succeed, for without concentration of thought, you are courting failure.
How many people there are out there that have hundreds of thoughts rushing through their head each minute, watching them like a tennis ball bouncing back and forth, causing a massive expenditure of energy without any return in results.
Picture a man shooting archery taking aim and letting fly the moment he thinks of something quite different. DO you think he’s going to hit the bullseye, or even hit the target at all?
If you wish to be healthy and strong, or succeed in any matter, you must appropriately guide your thoughts to the fullest in that direction without restriction. Even amongst events that it seems insignificant to have these thoughts.
Attention + Focus is a direction of energy. Concentrate your mind upon the idea of acquiring health and strength.
For example, the average dude may be watching YouTube or Tv while eating his meals - because he is distracted by whatever he is watching, he doesn’t chew his food enough. The result?
Indigestion, improper assimilation of that good, bad teeth and other chronic issues.
Many people that suffer from indigestion can cure themselves of it through the simple act of PROPER MASTICATION (chewing). It is the first step of digestion.
Another man will train for years according to a fairly good method, but he neglects to devote his mind to his movements.
Instead of clinging to the one important thought, “I will become strong,” or “I will strengthen this particular muscle,” he allows his thoughts to be distracted from the main point; the result is useless training, simply manual labour without increase of strength.
Worse still, he directs his attention to his phone mid workout, losing his intense train of thought.
Thought can influence a rush of blood to a particular area of the body, This is why mind muscle connection is so important. When you put your mind and focus into the muscle, you get a better pump and a better workout.
One ought to avoid all unnecessary worry and exciting thoughts, and to cultivate a firm tranquillity of mind.
ALL unnecessary sorrows and cares act in all circumstances harmfully upon one’s constitution.
Being a sad mopey person will in no way influence Fate, whereas one may weaken the body and mind by the waste of energy while indulging in them.
The best is to do one’s duty as best you can, and to leave the rest to the universe. We cannot control everything.
