Little Story

1. I met a woman who had spent most of her life taking care of others. She raised her children while working two jobs, always putting her family first.

2. Years later, she retired, and her children were grown, with families of their own. But she was lonely. Even though her children loved her, they were busy with their own lives.

3. One day, she told me, "I spent so many years taking care of everyone else, but now I realize I should have spent more time taking care of myself."

4. That’s when I understood that taking care of others is important, but you can’t forget to take care of yourself, too. True balance comes from loving yourself as much as you love others.
