This is a full-time on-site role for a Cashier at British Community Hospital and Outpatient Clinic (BCHOC), located in Abuja.
Role Description
• Accurately handle customer payments, including cash, credit/debit card transactions, and other payment methods.
• Ensure all transactions are processed correctly, efficiently, and in compliance with hospital policies.
• Provide excellent customer service — respond to inquiries, resolve billing issues, and ensure a positive patient experience.
• Reconcile the cash register at the start and end of each shift.
• Securely manage large cash transactions and prepare deposits.
• Maintain a tidy and organized cash register area.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of an OND or HND in Accounting, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or any related field.
• At least 1–2 years of proven experience in a cashier or front-desk finance role (preferably in a hospital).
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in the use of POS systems and basic accounting software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity, honesty, and accountability.
