IGBO YOUTHS ADVOCATE THINK HOME PHILOSOPHY, CALL ON NDI IGBO TO INVEST IN EDUCATION.

Igbo Youths have called on all Ndi Igbo, home and abroad, to consider the hefty advantages in the Think Home Philosophy (Aku luo Uno)

In a statement issued in Abuja by the Leader of Igbo Youths in Anambra State and Chairman of the Youth Leaders Forum, Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo Youth Wing Worldwide - Mazi Chukwuma Okpalaezeukwu,

" In Solidarity to the Clarion Call made by the President General of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo Worldwide- Amb. Prof. George Obiozor (UgwuMba), Igbo Youths have made a passionate appeal to Ndi Igbo in all works of life, to navigate home while considering their choice locations of Investments.

Ndi Igbo are proud that we are the highest investors in developmental projects in Nigeria and Africa at large, but we are not Happy that a Mega Majority of these projects and investments are located outside Igbo Land.

we have also admonished that more attention should be vested in Education.

Charity begins at Home, while EDUCATION is the most effective catalyst for all round Development.

If Ndi Igbo had all their investments located in Igbo Land, unemployment would have been raised to power zero (0), that is to the bearest minimum.

Innoson Group is a leading Example, while
Ugboko in Anioma is another useful and fruitful case study, where a worthy Prince of Ugboko- Hon. Ned Nwoko, an International Commercial Lawyer, decided to establish a world-class University of Science, Technology, Arts, Research and Sports, a.k.a STARS University.

This all round Development Project is not just located in Igbo Land, but sited right in Ugboko his Community.
The citadel of learning, when completed, shall beget a New Onicha-Ugboko and change the narratives of the entire Anioma and Igbo Land at Large.

STARS University shall grossly engage our people to service and expose them more to civilization. it shall provide the enabling environment for rapid growth.
Above all, it shall encourage our Youths to study and Develope for self reliance.

The Youth is a Higher beneficiary of this Think Philosophy "Aku Luo Uno", while the Society is the Highest Beneficiary.
Therefore, it is incumbent on us, the Youths, to champion this course and promote EDUCATION in Igbo Land, for a better Society.

Sequel to the above, we hereby express our profound gratitude and support to Hon. Prince Ned Nwoko- Founder, Prince Ned Nwoko Foundation; Chief Innocent Chukwuma- Chairman, Innoson Group, and other Igbo Stakeholders who have engraved their names in our hearts with their choice Locations.

We hereby add our voice bemoan and condemn in strong terms, any form of distraction and/or efforts to impede such progressive Development anywhere in Igbo Land.

A special Team of Anambra Youth Coalition Against COVID-19 has commended the Anambra State Government for their proactiveness and responsiveness in the fight against Coronavirus.

The coalition which comprised of Amb. Comr. Innocent Nduanya- Deputy President, National Youth Council of Nigeria; Maazi Chukwuma Okpalaezeukwu- Leader, Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo Youth Wing; Comr. Egwuatu Samuel- Chairman, National Youth Council of Nigeria Anambra State and Comr, Eweh Onyedika- Secretary General, Anambra Youth Political Agenda (AYPA) made the commendation after today's sensitization and monitoring of enforcement on the level of compliance on the total lockdown order by the State Government.

The Coalition in support of the various preventive measures put in place by the government to contain the novel Pandemic, move round to monitor and observe the level of enforcement and compliance of the various directives by the Anambra State Government.

They also attend to those exempted sectors such as Health and Food related businesses, where they sensitise the people on the need to live with extreme caution, particularly in this trying times; visit remote areas
of the state where they take the message of Preventive measures and urge the people to adhere strictly to them.

They equally commend the State government for her commitment and resilience in the fight against the Pandemic in Anambra State and
Praised Ndi Anambra, especially the Youths, for their Support and Compliance so far towards the fight against the novel virus.

They also thanked numerous Stakeholders, ranging from the Security Agencies, Business Community, Top Government Officials, the Health Workers and the Media for their support and donations, Philanthropy and Services in view to containing the deadly Virus.

A COMMUNIQUÉ BY THE LEADERSHIP OF OHANAEZE NDI IGBO YOUTH WING ANAMBRA STATE AFTER HER EMERGENCY EXECUTIVE MEETING HELD ON FRIDAY 19TH MARCH, 2020 AT OHANAEZE NDI IGBO STATE SECRETARIAT AWKA, ANAMBRA STATE.

1. We are concerned over the recent records and reports on the novel COVID-19 Pandemic also know as CORONAVIRUS, though not yet severe, in Nigeria. we are pleased with the prompt attention and response of the State Government in order to check this outbreak and ensure a healthy and happy life for Ndi Anambra.
On this note, we commend the efforts so far such as the Sensitisation Outreach, Embargo- with dates, on Public Gatherings, Tertiary and Basic Education curriculum e.t.c., and therefore urge the citizenry to adhere to the stipulated measures in order to help the Government serve us better.
In support and solidarity to the healthy commitment of the State Government, We offer our memebers in the 21 LGAs to voluntarily assist in ensuring that we take this consciousness to all Markets, Schools and other relevant places in order to maximize impact and serve the purpose.
We also humbly advise that basic sanitary measures like Hand Sanitizer and Washing Points should, as a matter of Urgency, be adequately established in all our Primary and Secondary schools pending the slated date of vacation.
We enjoin Ndi Anambra to be cautious and united as we shall surely scale through this global challenging moment.

2. Our attention has been called to the purported communiqué issued by the so called "Anambra Ohanaeze Youth Stakeholders Forum".
We the Leadership of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo Youth Wing Anambra State, hereby disclaim and disassociate ourselves from such illegality, as the Constitution of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo did not recognize such forum. According to the structure of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo as enshrined in the Constitution, it is either you belong to the main Body or the Wings(Youth and women).
On this note, we call on the reading public to disregard and discard such unsigned, fraudulent and mischievous publication as it does not reflect the positions of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo Youth Wing Anambra State.
We hereby warn the Mischief Makers- Chief Chika Nzelu, Engr. TonyUche Ezekwelu, Nze Arthur Obiora, Amb. Jude Diggar Ezenwafor and cohorts to immediately desist from such illegal act and do the right things, or face the appropriate sanctions for impersonation and misrepresentation.
We call on the security agencies and other relevant authorities to take note of this development for appropriate response as we cannot fold our hands and allow these unscrupulous and Political Relevance seekers to unnecessarily heat up the polity, and drag the renowned and revered name of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo to the mud.

3. We commend the Youthful and Articulate 7th Assembly of Anambra State House of Assembly led by Rt. Hon. Uche Victor Okafor, for her impactful and progressive legislation, especially on the Bill seeking the establishment of Anambra Youth Development Commission sponsored by Hon. Comr. Nonso Smart Okafor, which has scaled second reading on the floor of the House. We urge the appropriate committee to ensure that such sustainable development Bill is expeditiously passed and ascended to Law by the Youth Friendly and people oriented Governor of Anambra State- Chief Sir Willie M. Obiano ( Ebubedike Aguleri), before the third quarter of this year 2020.
We also encourage the 7th Assembly to reconsider the Anambra Burial Bill as it appears to rescind some Igbo Traditions and Customs. ANAMBRA bu isi Igbo.

4. We bemoan the misrepresentation and misguided utterances of Nze Arthur Obiora that "Zoning is meaningless in Anambra 2021", which defiled the position of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo Anambra State and the Sanctity of Zoning in the State. Most regrettable is his refusal to officially withdraw the statement as directed by the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo Anambra State.
Sequel to this, we hereby reaffirm our commitment and support on the Sanctity of Zoning in Anambra State; and hereby pass a vote of no confidence on Nze Arthur Obiora, as we adopt the Resolutions of the National Executive Committee (NEC) of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo Youth Wing at Enugu.

5. We hereby pass a vote of confidence and reaffirm our support and solidarity on the Leader of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo Youth Wing Anambra State- Mazi Chukwuma Okpalaezeukwu, for his pragmatic, selfless and nonpartisan leadership provisions to the Igbo Youths in Anambra State and beyond.
We also commend the unprecedented good working relationship that exist between the main body of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo ably led by Chief Afam Damian Okeke Ogene(Isi Idikiridi Nanka) and the Youth Wing.

6. We commend the Federal Government for her little attention in South East as demonstrated in the visible rehabilitation of Enugu-Onitsha Express way, the Second Niger Bridge and the recently captioned rehabilitation of Enugu-Aba-Portharcourt express way, we deem it necessary to remind her and the National Assembly that the establishment of South East Development commission is long over due, as this shall continue to negatively affect our sense of Unity, Equity and Fairness.

"ZONING IS SACROSANCT !!"

Our attention has been drawn to the misguided utterances of Nze Uchenna Arthur Obiora published on the Daily SUN dated 12th February 2020, claiming that "Zoning is meaningless in ANAMBRA 2021", as the Position and Resolution of the National Leadership of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo Youth Wing Worldwide.

In Devotion and Service, as a member of the National Executive Committee, Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo Youth Wing Worldwide, and the State Youth Leader of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo Anambra State, we the Leadership of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo Youth Wing Anambra State hereby emphatically express our dismay and displeasure over the ignorant statement of Nze Uchenna Arthur Obiora, and we deem it a necessity to set the records straight.

Following the Comprehensive and all Encompassing Consultation of Ndi Anambra, and not limited to the Paramount Stakeholders; and the subsequent Unanimous Resolution of the General Assembly of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo Anambra State, the Council of Ndi Eze, and Anambra State Association of Town Unions (ASATU), the Leadership of Ohanaeze Ndi Anambra State led by the President- Chief Damian Afam Okeke Ogene (Mbuze Nanka) issued a World Press Conference on the 18th of July, 2017 in Awka Anambra State, and stated that "ZONING IS SACROSANCT", in order to promote UNITY, EQUITY AND FAIRNESS in Anambra State, especially on the election into of the Office of the Executive Governor of Anambra State.
That it shall rotate amongst the three Zones that Constitute Anambra State, for a duration of 8 years per Zone i.e Two Terms of 4 years each per Zone, in order to curb Rancour and enhance Electoral Exercise in Anambra.

From the Inception of a Conscious and visible Democracy in Anambra State- 2003-2014, Anambra Central took her turn through the services Sen. Dr. Chris N. Ngige OON (Onwa) and Mr. Peter Obi CON (Okwute Ndigbo).

From 2014-2022 is the duration for the Renowned and Indelible Administration led by Chief Sir. Willie M. Obiano (EbubeDike Aguleri), from Anambra North, and her turn.

In the spirit of Equity and Fairness, Unity and Peace, ANAMBRA 2021 is equitably and fairly zone to ANAMBRA SOUTH zone.

Sequel to the above and in consonance with the Constitution of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo Worldwide, we the Leadership of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo Youth Wing Anambra State hereby reaffirm that ZONING is SACROSANCT, and therefore urge Ndi Anambra, Igbo Youths, the Electoral Umpire and the Credible Political Parties in Anambra State to support this mantra, in order to enhance a better society, and consolidate the tenets of Democracy and Progress in Anambra State.

We disclaim and disassociate ourselves from the misguided utterances of Nze Uchenna Arthur Obiora, and therefore demand him to expeditiously redraw the Statement within 72 hours from today, 13th February 2020, in order not to treathen nor violate the Constitution of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo Worldwide.

We are grateful and motivated by the Superb and Impactful Leadership of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo Anambra State, effectively piloted by Chief Damian Afam Okeke Ogene (Mbuze Nanka) and State Executives.
Jide nu ka unu ji, We are devoted and resolute in our support and solidarity.

We are happy and healthy, for the good working relationship between the Leadership tiers of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo Worldwide- National, State, Local Governments and Igbo Communities Worldwide, as boldly led by Chief John Nnia Nwodo (Ike Ukehe) and the National Executives.

The nascent Igbo Unity, and the Protection of Lives and Property of Ndi anywhere in the world are Premium, and must be sustained at All Cost.
