Today, as I sit here thinking about you on your birthday, my heart is so full, it feels like it might overflow. Tears of joy and gratitude are already blurring my eyes because you, my precious boy, have grown into a man who makes every sacrifice, every prayer, and every moment of motherhood worth more than I could ever express.
From the day One, you carried a light in you, a quiet strength, a gentle spirit, and a heart that always sought to do right. Watching you choose the path of a Pilot in the Nigerian Air Force filled me with such immense pride that words often fail me. You soar through the skies not just with skill and precision, but with honor, discipline, and unwavering dedication. Every time I hear of your missions, your training, your leadership among your colleagues, my chest swells with a mother’s fierce, protective love. You have made our family proud beyond measure, my son.

You stand tall as a beacon of excellence, professionalism, and integrity in a world that needs men like you.
But what touches my soul even deeper is the way you lead our family here on the ground. You have always been the one to coordinate, to bring your siblings together, to encourage love, unity, and kindness among them. In a home with many voices, you are the steady, humble voice that reminds every one of what truly matters, family, respect, and love. You never boast, never seek the spotlight, instead, you serve quietly, homely, always putting others first.

Your intelligence shines not in arrogance but in wisdom, humility and your fear of God anchors everything you do. I keep taking God Almighty for giving me a son who walks so closely with Him and in total obedient to the words and guardian of your parents.
As your mother, I want to speak these blessings over you today, straight from my heart and rooted in God’s Word. Because you have honored US your parents, obeyed with a willing heart, and lived righteously, the Lord has promised good things for you.
As it is written in Ephesians 6:2-3: “Honor your father and mother”, which is the first commandment with a promise, “so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.” My son, because you have honored US, with your obedience and love, I declare over you that it shall be well with you. Long life, health, peace, and prosperity in all you do, may these be yours in abundance
Amen.

In Proverbs 3:1-2, God says: “My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you prosperity.” You have hidden His Word in your heart, lived by it, and feared Him reverently. Therefore, I affirm that your days will be prolonged, your paths prosperous, and your life richly blessed.

I affirm your continued success and growth, my love. May the Lord elevate you higher in your career, open doors no man can shut, grant you favor with superiors and subordinates alike, sharpen your mind, steady your hands on the controls, and protect you under His wings every time you take to the skies. May you rise to greater heights, lead with even more compassion and courage, and inspire others as you keep inspiring us.

Grow deeper in your walk with God, remain humble, obedient and grounded, keep nurturing the love among your siblings, and never lose that homely warmth that makes everyone feel safe around you. Be focused on your goal and work diligently towards it. You are already extraordinary, but I know the best is yet to come because God is not finished with you, remember that Hard work pays there is no Short cut to success.

On this special day, I wish you EVERYTHING that God has in store for you. All the plans He has for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). All the joy, all the victories, all the tender moments, all the answered prayers, all the love your heart can hold. May He pour out blessings upon blessings until your cup overflows.
Happy Birthday, my beloved son. continue to be our pride, I love you more than words can say, and I am endlessly grateful to be your mother.

“Why Young People Must Build Capacity Before Pursuing Politics”

In every generation, young people feel the passion to lead, to change society, and to shape the future of their nation. That passion is admirable. However, leadership without preparation can become noise without impact. The foundation of meaningful leadership is education, skill, and professional competence.

A young person must first invest in intellectual development. Education builds critical thinking, discipline, resilience, and problem-solving ability. It equips individuals with the tools to understand complex economic, social, technological, and governance issues. Without this foundation, political ambition risks becoming emotional rather than strategic.

Pursuing a career before entering politics does not weaken leadership potential, it strengthens it. A professional career exposes a person to real world systems, accountability structures, deadlines, budgets, teamwork, and results. It teaches responsibility. It develops credibility. Whether one becomes an Engineer , Teacher , Doctor, Entrepreneur , or Technologist, professional experience creates leaders who understand policy from practical experience, not just theory.

When young people rush into full-time politics without building expertise, they often lack the capacity to design sustainable solutions. But when they are educated and professionally grounded, they bring value into governance. They speak with evidence. They understand implementation. They lead with substance.

Politics should not be an escape from hard work, it should be an extension of competence. True transformation requires leaders who have mastered something before seeking to govern others.

This is why education must come first. Skill must come first. Character must come first. Politics is most powerful when it is built on knowledge, experience, and a track record of contribution.

Young people should aspire not merely to hold office, but to become capable, informed, and ethical leaders whose decisions are backed by expertise and wisdom. A Nation progresses when its leaders are not only passionate, but prepared.

“NEVER LET AN ABUSER DEFINE YOUR WORTH”

An abusive man uses shame as a weapon because it is the last thing he has when he can no longer control you.
He will tell you that you are too much, too broken, too used, too burdened, because he needs you to believe that freedom will cost you everything.

When she finally found the courage to walk away, he tried one final blow:
“Nobody will marry you knowing you have five children.”😄😄😄😄😄🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

But shame only has power when you stay.

She walked away anyway.

And in walking away, she proved this truth:
“A woman does not lose value because she survives.
A mother is not a liability.
Your past does not disqualify you from love”.

Today, she is happily married to a man who does not fear her strength, resent her children, or diminish her dreams. A man who loves her gently, supports her growth, and encourages her to rise.

Let this be known:
The man who abuses you does not get to be the judge of your future.
What he calls baggage, another man will call legacy.
What he tried to shame, life restored with honour.

Walk away.
Healing will find you.
Love will meet you there.
