People are people!

There are really no good or bad people; rather, we have people who make good or bad choices.

We are all capable of making both.

If we learn to separate people's offenses from them as humans, we get to be kinder and realize that no one is exclusively good or bad.

We can be more humane, as no matter the choice made, people are still humans, and this does not take away the consequences of choices made.

Easier said, but better done. The world needs more love.

Loneliness is a very powerful emotion. It can lead to feelings of neglect, isolation, alienation, and a desire to be loved no matter how.

A crucial step in a perpetrator’s grooming is isolating the child from their loved ones, both emotionally and physically.

If a child is already feeling isolated, this step will be much easier for a perpetrator to achieve. Also, if a child is left alone or unsupervised on a frequent basis, a perpetrator has more opportunities to get close to that child.

Be involved in your child's life as much as you can.

Our words can help children build their self-esteem.

Please, parents, remember they learn differently.

Every child is unique!

Focus on their strengths, not their weaknesses.
Your words should build them not discourage them.

Welcome, 2024!

My presence here has been sporadic due to the multitude of responsibilities that demanded my attention. Relocating to a new country on an unfamiliar continent has been enriching, fulfilling, and quite overwhelming as well.

However, I am optimistic that i can pick up where I left off. Safeguarding children from abuse has always been a dream close to my heart, and I am committed to pursuing it throughout my life.

So, let's raise a toast to a fresh start and the enduring pursuit of our dreams. Here's to a new beginning filled with hope and determination.

Most cases of child s*xual abuse involve someone known to the child, such as a family member, family friend, teacher, coach, or even a neighbor. It is crucial to acknowledge that perpetrators can be of any gender and come from various backgrounds.

Victims can also be of any gender or background.

Statistics show that 8 in 10 girls, and 6 in 10 boys get abused before they turn 18.🥶

It is crucial to raise awareness about CSA, promote prevention strategies, and educate individuals on recognizing the signs of abuse. Building a supportive network around children and fostering open communication can help protect them from potential exploitation.
