This isn't about punishing workouts or forcing yourself to the gym at 5am. This is about reclaiming JOY in your body.

Did you know?

Japan has the world's longest life expectancy and is known for often being home to the world's oldest living person.

This weekend, I spent some time researching the Japanese walking method, which is a fitness method that involves alternating between periods of fast and slow walking, typically for 3 minutes of each, repeated for a total of 30 minutes, four times a week.

Originating from Japanese research, this interval training improves cardiovascular fitness, lowers blood pressure, builds muscle strength, and aids in weight management more efficiently than continuous moderate walking.

It's a sustainable, low-impact workout that requires no special equipment and can be adapted to individual fitness levels.

So for our Movement Challenge this month, we will be focusing on the Japanese walking method, and walk our way to wellness!
