HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR NIGHT VISION

1. Always consume Blueberries. The purple pigments called related species help to strengthen the purple area of vision that control adaptation from light to dark and the eyes' response to glare. Blueberry is found in the grape family like, blueberry, cranberry and purple grape.

2. Eat foods rich in vitamin A. Vitamin A is a major ingredient required for Night Vision. Deficiency of vitamin A could lead to Night Blindness. Vitamin A is found in Spinach and other dark leafy greens, carrots, sweet potatoes, apricot and cantaloupe. You can also take vitamin A or beta carotene as supplement.

3. Consume yellow fruits and oranges. Most of the yellow fruits contain carotene known as Lutein. Lutein is also vital for Day Vision.

4. Take Red Wine instead of Beer or Ordinary alcohols. Red wine is good for your Night Vision.

5. Having an Anti-reflective coating on your glasses can help reduce Glare at Night and Sharpen the way you see at Night.

Anterior Uveitis is one of the most painful eye conditions that will keep a person seeking emergency care in our practice. It is also associated with increased sensitivity to light, blurry vision, redness, and soreness of the eyes. In the optometry clinic, other signs that are visible to the patient may be uncovered by our optometrists, such as nodules on the iris, constricted pupil, adhesion of the iris to the front surface of the crystalline lens, etc.
Anterior uveitis can be linked locally to certain bacterial, fungal, and viral infections of the eye. Some auto-immune conditions like Rheumatoid Arthritis and sarcoidosis, and infectious diseases such as Syphilis, tuberculosis, etc. can bring about this secondary inflammatory response of the eye.
Anterior uveitis in healthy persons cannot be prevented since the cause is sometimes not known. However, in persons with auto-immune diseases, taking care of those conditions can lead to better health for the body, including the eyes. To prevent serious complications, including permanent loss of some or all vision, early diagnosis, and proper treatment are essential.
Anterior uveitis can result in glaucoma, cataracts, retinal edema, or even lead to permanent loss of vision if left untreated.
