The most important thing that gives you a clue as to what you should be looking to deal with during weight loss is to answer the question,

What happened before I started getting fat?
1. Did you go through a stressed event in your life like divorce, loss of a loved one, a difficult boss, surgery etc

2. Did you change your diet to start include carbonated soft drinks and processed flour foods

3. Did you changed creams to ones that contained estrogene mimicking hormones, or did you start eating gm foods, etc

4. Did you start taking alchols

5. Did you go on medication for some reason etc

6. Did you recently get sick?

An answer to these question will provide a general guide in the direction of what is responsible for the shape assumed due to fat deposits in particular areas of your body
