Avoid dirty environment and stagnant water, clear all bushes around you, sleep under Long Lasting Insecticides Nets (LLIN). Do not self-medicate, if you have symptoms like Fever, high temperature, vomiting, weakness of the body, loss of appetite, nausea, headache, joint pains, kindly seek early diagnosis and treatment at the nearest health facility and encourage regular health check-up.

Malaria is caused by plasmodium parasites, and it is transmitted by infected female Anopheles mosquito. Malaria is severe among pregnant women, children under-5 years and people with compromised immune system.
