Tips for improving emotional health:

Self-care: Prioritize activities that promote relaxation and well-being, such as taking a break, getting outside, or engaging in hobbies.

What is Health
Health is a state of been well and the ability of an individual to carry out his daily activities.

Definition of Health according to WHO
Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being of an individual and not merely the absence of any disease or infirmity."
Many researchers has given different definitions based on their perspective about health.
The concept of health
There are 3 specific dimensions based on the definition of health they include;
1. Physical
2. Mental
3. Social wellbeing
PHYSICAL HEALTH:
A person is termed to be healthy when he or she has no disfigurement or disability.

Physical health can be defined as a state of well-being when all internal and external body parts, organs, tissues and cells can function properly as they are supposed to function

A healthy body(Physical) is maintained by good nutrition, regular exercise, avoiding harmful habits, making informed and responsible decisions about health, and seeking medical assistance when necessary.

MENTAL HEALTH
Mental health includes our emotional, psychological wellbeing. Thoughts, perspective how it affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices.

Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood.

Mental health is a state of mental well-being that enables people to cope with the stresses of life, realize their abilities, learn well and work well, and contribute to themselves, family, friends, society/community and country.

Note: A person must keep his mental health stable at a high percentage at all times for proper healthy attitude to oneself, family and friends and the society at large.

Types of mental health
mood disorders (such as depression or bipolar disorder) anxiety disorders. personality disorders. psychotic disorders (such as schizophrenia).

SOCIAL WELLBEING
Social health is a term that refers to the ways in which people create healthy and positive interpersonal relationships with one another. Having good social health helps people improve their emotional wellbeing and feel supported in their daily lives.

Social health can be defined as our ability to interact and form meaningful relationships with others. It also relates to how comfortably we can adapt in social situations. Social relationships have an impact on our mental health, physical health and mortality risk.

Attitude, character, response to others, ability to take up responsibility and balance it with your personal life are categorized under your social health wellbeing.

This is to thank us for remaining faithful and supportive all through 2023 and we hope for a better 2024 together with love ❤
It's my utmost hope and anticipation to work with y'all in fulfilling the goals and objectives of our different visions and purpose of 2024.
Therefore, I gladly and wholeheartedly welcome us to a PRODUCTIVE year ahead fulfilling dreams and aspirations together. With this I want to officially inform us that our lectures will resume in a week time 15/01/2024. And all other activities of the group will commence.
