**International Day of the Boy Child 2025**
**Theme: *Building Self-esteem in Boys: Stand Up, Be Heard, Be Seen***

Today, we celebrate the International Day of the Boy Child, a day to recognize the unique challenges boys face and to affirm our commitment to nurturing their growth into confident, compassionate, and responsible men.

As we reflect on this year’s theme, *“Building Self-esteem in Boys: Stand Up, Be Heard, Be Seen,”* we are reminded of the importance of creating safe and supportive environments where boys feel valued, understood, and empowered. Healthy self-esteem is the foundation for resilience, respectful relationships, and responsible decision-making — all crucial to their well-being and future roles in society.

we must equip our boys with the right information, emotional support, and positive role models. Let us break harmful stereotypes, encourage open conversations, and ensure that every boy has the opportunity to thrive — mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Today and every day, let’s stand with our boys. Let’s listen, uplift, and champion them — so they may grow into voices of change and pillars of strength in their communities.
