𝑶𝒗𝒆𝒓 2.6 𝑴𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑫𝒆𝒍𝒕𝒂 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 𝑪𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 — 𝑯𝒆𝒍𝒑 𝒖𝒔 𝑫𝒐 𝑴.𝑶.𝑹.𝑬.

Over 2.6 million Deltans have been enrolled in the State’s health insurance scheme — yet many vulnerable residents still need help.

From Uvwie to Effurun, Ndokwa East, Ughelli North, Ughelli South, Ika South, Ika North East, Oshimili North, and Aniocha South, the Indigent Enrollee Adoption Initiative (IEAI) is gaining ground — thanks to the generosity of leaders like Hon. John Nani, Hon. Frank Esenwa, Hon. Solomon Ighrakpata, Dr. Patrick Ighomrore, and also the DG/CEO of the DSCHC Olorogun Dr. Isaac Akpoveta, thousands of indigent residents of Delta state have been enrolled into the scheme.

We call on more philanthropists, political leaders, private sector partners, and Deltans in the diaspora to key into this life-changing initiative and adopt enrollees in their communities. Let’s keep the momentum going — and make access to healthcare truly universal.

With more than 2.6 million enrollees under its care, the DSCHC continued its stakeholder engagement in Delta Central—equipping PHC officials with knowledge on the new facial recognition system, changes to the benefit package, and improved billing processes.
The Commission remains committed to accessible, quality healthcare for all.

The DSCHC convened PHC officials in Delta North for a stakeholder engagement session focused on deepening collaboration and enhancing service delivery.
The session featured training on the facial recognition app, revised benefit package, and updated billing practices.

All Children under 5 years must also be registered and get a free health card before attending hospital as:

The Delta State Contributory Health Commission is calling on all pregnant women residing in Delta State, to register with the Commission, as soon as they confirm their pregnancy and obtain a Health Card, before going to hospital to register for antenatal to enable them receive free antenatal care up to delivery, in any Government Hospital or Primary Healthcare Center of their choice.

Starting from 1st of January 2025,
No health card - No free treatment
No health card - No free antenatal care.
No health card - No free delivery.

So, hurry and register with any of the agents of the Delta State Contributory Health Commission, in any Government Hospital or Primary Healthcare Center nearest to you, before 1st of January 2025.
