Washing your clothes/your woman's clothes, cooking, cleaning is not a big deal. Marriage/relationship is partnership. Nobody's name is tied to chores. It's only your traditional mentality that makes it look like it's condescending for a man. Many women are sad but cant speak out because of the same tradition. A lot is happening so fast in the society, almost everything we hear and see around breeds fear in the heart of many especially in the area of marriage.
We need to start understanding our roles as husbands or wives. Husbands love your wives as Christ loved the church and gave himself for the church. Wives submit in all things to your own husband.
Until you understand that principle above and are ready to do marriage that way, pls don't marry. The devil is out to destroy the society and God's design for a happy home. Don't let social media or other people experiences mislead you. Learn the lessons positively and move.. If you are in an abusive relationship/marriage, do all you can to save your life and sanity first. If yours is still intact, do all you can to protect it.

Gone are the days when we were made to believe that its the woman's job to keep a marriage, a tree can not make a forest, the success of any home is a team work of those involved. Let's start raising sons with the same energy we give our daughters.

A poorly raised son is a potential bad husband.

For the unmarried, you still have the opportunity to chose well, get all the necessary information you need, marriage can still work in our generation, learn from good examples, read books, attend seminars, seek the help of counselors when necessary... Your ideas are not enough. Don't ignore red flags, they are the little things that leads to abuses and failed marriages.

Don't follow the trend, follow God's design. The devil must not be allowed to destroy God's gift to man. In all this, let's not forget the place of prayer. We can still mend the society if men and women decides to work...
