THE KOLA NUT AND IGBO UNITY

The Igbo tradition of praying with the kola nut every morning by every family-head (paterfamilias) did not only unite Ndigbo with God but also with one another, including the dead.

If all Igbo family-heads, including our political leaders, had continued with this tradition till date, our unity would have been equal to none.

It is unthinkable that a political leader who prays with the kola nut every morning for his family and his political clan would ever sabotage against his people's interest just to remain in power.

The easiest way to kill a people is to kill that which binds them together because once the centre can no longer hold the parts will begin to disintegrate, to hate and destroy themselves. This lesson is valid for Ndigbo as it is for any other people.

We have to reinstate igo oji and so many other wonderful aspects of our culture that promote unity and love if we must survive as a people.

Uzo Gbara Atọ...
A three-way road junction is a powerful meeting place for spirits and humans (agbata mmụọ na mmadụ). That is why sacrifices are made at three-way road junctions or four-way road junctions respectively.

Now, let me explain further:

1. If you are involved in land business or work in the bush, make sure to perform sacrifices occasionally for the land spirits (ndi ofia).

2. If you work on water, perform sacrifices occasionally in the water to honor the spirits of the sea.

3. If you work on the roadside, occasionally perform sacrifices on the main road, especially for travelers.

4. If you are a traveler, make sure to perform sacrifices occasionally or every month at road junctions.

5. If you sell food materials or clothing, make sure to perform saraka (ritual) for people or children at least once a month.

6. For those who don't have money, simply gather kolanut, nzu (chalk), hot drink, palm wine, edo (a type of bean), or a native egg on a white plate. Make incantations and leave them at the designated spot. Remember to add cowries or any naira notes or coins to represent the other items you didn't provide.

Native pot of powers, success and money

Many people are so desperate to look for money or have money, without know what there Reason of coming to this world,,they need money fast,,so okeite is for fast money

But anything fast is not so real
Many advantage and disadvantage in okeite awelle is too much

Awelle is the normal and easy one that has to do with combination of natural resources to form or attract favour and moneybut oketie awelle is bad and dangerous

Some are using cat to preform the okeite awelle
Some are using dog to perform the okeite awelle
Some are using cow or snake to do it
Some are for crowd puller,which some pastor's and celebrity preform

Some will even use and add human parts on it for you on okeite awelle

Okeite takes life because many animals that act stronger like humans spirit use on it like dogs ,cat

Some okeite awelle onces you have it,it will control you and all your spirit guide will left you to be

Okeite awelle is forcing another spirit on you to bring favour or money,,it is never part of your destiny

They eat kolanut which signify life and peace because who so ever that brought kolanut also brought life
Kolanut is not man made " no one cultivated it ' its grows on its own for a purpose of health and nature which is why we use it to communicate with our supreme chi ukwu okike and other spirits which govern ala igbo

It's signify peace and harmony " that is why in every traditional marriage " you must see kolanut
In the burial section " you must see kolanut because it is what is been used for both spirit and humans which also has health benefits 😉

Offering to ndi ichie the simplest process without much celebration or crowd bcos some families are now church goers and might raise some argument , Get ogilisi fresh leaves , find a good portion at Ur ancesteral home, keep the leaves on the choosen portion use nzu to round it bcos that where u will perform the libation use ose oji to cleanse the portion or the land space ,make sure u cleanse urself also , tua ndi ichie nzu , tua ha edo , then offer them kolanut whole 1 for ndi ichie ikwunna , then invite ndi ichie ikwunne by calling on them offer them 1 kolanut whole also , then use one to pray for whatsoever u need from them , after praying break that one ,u can eat from the one u broke , get the fowl and yam wash the leg and head of the fowl , then cut the head of the yam and place it within the circle telling ur ndi ichie the it is their yam , remove some feathers from the fowl throw it into the circle also tell them that the fowl is for them , kill the fowl and let the blood splash on the circle portion while u pray , then go and cook the rest of the yam and fowl after cooking , NB no oil will be used cook it nsala porridge or soup and pounded yam anyone u choose , after cooking offer the head ,the feet , the liver ,the gizzard and the intestine to ndi ichie
within that circle , if is yam poridge offer them 4 pieces of yam for the four market days ,eg rie nu n'eke ,rie nu n" orie , rie nu n' Afor , rie nu na nkwo , if Ur father has joined his Ancestors give extral 2 to ur father it is for his bragging rights ,then u now offer them hot drink or unadulterated palm wine

That dream will not happen, dream is an avenue for revelation, a times when you see bad things in dream try to apply remedies and It will neutralize it.

Now let us get the origin of the 4 Market days in Igbo Tradition. The 4 market days comprises the EKE, ORIE, AFOR and Nkwo who is the last born child, they were originated from NRI during the region of Eze Nrijiofor 1 (1300-1390 AD) and the Fifth on the chronology of the Nri traditional throne or Succession. During this period, 4 wise men visited the palace of Eze nrijiofor and pretended to be deaf and dump and never said their names nether their mission to the palace on arrival, each came with Nkata which literally means Basket, they were taken to the visitors chamber by the Adamma who was the king's servant, later in the evening, the Eze Nrijiofor went to see them but they didn't respond warmly to him and also didn't acknowledge his greetings. Oji (kolanut) was presented to them but they didn't alter a word in acceptance or rejection of the kolanut (oji), late in the night, Eze nrijiofor 's soothsayer sent a rat to disturbed their sleep when the rat went to the first basket belonged to EKE and started to nibble at it, Orie woke up and called " EKE wake up! A rat is trying to get your basket" eventually, EKE woke up the rat ran away, the rat repeated the trickish manner to other baskets to ascertain their names "Anuta Akara Eze". In the morning, Eze nrijiofor went to them and started performing the Oji ututu on that process, he mentioned their names by saying Eke taa oji, Orie taa Oji, Afor taa Oji and Nkwo taa Oji respectively, the visitors who were referred to as "Ndi biala eji ekwu okwu" were astonished and request for water to wash their hands and faces and accepted the kolanut offered by Eze Nrijiofor, after chewing the kolanut, they brought out ITE Ano ( four earth pots) to the king and directed him to keep them in front of NRI MENRI SHRINE outside the Obi or Obu (Palace) with each pot facing the Sun raise, EKE who was the spokesman told Eze Nrijiofor 1, that the pots were Sent down from Chukwu (God Almighty) He instructed Eze Nrijiofor and His people who
